After assuming the creative lead for the DPL in August 2020, I embarked on an extensive journey to refine and perfect the league's visual identity. After years of exploring various visual directions, I eventually arrived at a visual language and tone that resonated deeply with the brand’s ethos. One of my key achievements was transforming the logo from a flat, two-dimensional design into a dynamic, three-dimensional emblem that exudes modernity and energy.
This evolution set the foundation for the entire brand identity, which now prominently features dynamic, geometric lines that convey movement and agility—essential qualities for a nationwide soccer league. The design also incorporates subtle yet distinct American elements, ensuring that the branding reflects both the sport’s dynamic nature and its national significance. The cohesive visual system I developed ensures that every aspect of the branding, from logos to collateral, speaks with a unified and impactful voice.
